Booked on a Feeling

Welcome to my reading corner , where we talk about the books I've read and think you should know about , and that you might be interested in. From the bad to good, to even audiobooks  and before you ask you did read that right,buts its a new a year and I'm slowly getting in to them but I'm still going to be reading more books then audio books , each month the plan is to try and listing to 2 or 3 audio books and then talk about them  , so pull up a set and if you want to get a drink.
, the author Jayci Lee  , as well as to Netgalley for letting me read and review it
First book by this author that I've read but I so going to check out more of her books if their as cute and funny as this one was, it had me smiling and laughing though the book plus Lizzy is a character after my own heart , one because we both have anxiety,and the second thing is and was that we're both big book worms and we love going to book stories and buying books. Side note : Since this is my first Jayci Lee book I had no idea that it was part of a series and that it was in fact book 3 but I will come out and say even though it is part of a series I feel like it can be read as a stand lone and you can still enjoy it like I did. Plus I loved learning and read about the different aspects of Korean culture. As well as seen how close Lizzy and Jack was even before they got together . So if your looking for a cute , funny friends to lovers romance then check this one out .

Description

Jayci Lee's romcom Booked on a Feeling features an overachieving lawyer. A failing bookstore. A childhood friend. And the chance of a lifetime…

Lizzy "Overachiever" Chung, Esq. has her life mapped out neatly:
* Become a lawyer. Check.
* Join a prestigious law firm. Check.
* Make partner. In progress.

If all goes to plan, she will check off that last box in a couple years, make her parents proud, and live a successful, fulfilled life in L.A. What was not in her plans was passing out from a panic attack during a pivotal moment in her career. A few deep breaths and a four hour drive later, Lizzy is in Weldon for three weeks to shed the burnout and figure out what went wrong. And what better place to recharge than the small California town where she spent her childhood summers with her best friend, Jack Park.

Jack Park didn't expect to see Lizzy back in Weldon, but now he's got three weeks to spend with the girl of his dreams. Except she doesn't know of his decades-long crush on her--and he intends to keep it that way. She's a high-powered attorney who lives in L.A. and he's a bookkeeper at his family's brewery who never left his hometown. He can't risk their friendship on a long shot. Can he? When Lizzy decides that the local bookstore needs a little revamp, of course, Jack is going to help her bring it back to life. But the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to ignore there might be more than just friendship among the dusty shelves and books...

Sometimes the path to the rest of your life has been in front of you all along.
