He has two legacies from his absent father, Mo: his weird name and his brown skin. Crisp has always been the odd kid out, but a fundamentally good kid, with a bright future.

NEVER FALL IN LOVE WITH A COWBOY
Jessa Mae Love is done with relationships. No matter how tempting he might be, she cannot--will not--fall for a man like Lance Cortez. The outrageously handsome cowboy is practically a living legend in Colorado, as famous for riding bulls as he is for breaking hearts. What would a big-time rodeo star like him see in a small-town veterinarian who wears glasses, rescues animals, and cries when watching rom-coms? Turns out, plenty.

Raising bulls, riding the circuit, and looking after his ailing father--Lance never stands still for long. Yet Jessa catches his attention, and the more she tries to resist him, the more he wants her. When she agrees to move to the ranch to keep an eye on Lance's dad, Jessa tells him they have to keep it professional: no flirting, no sweet talk, and definitely no kissing. But with Jessa now living under his roof, that's easier said than done .

What a fun loving story to read and to start off a new to me series , which is one of the things I loved about ,how it gives you a back story to the family and the brothers and show that they would do anything for each other even keep a secret from their dad , I especially loved how the Jess and Lance trys to resist each other but the more they try the more Lance keeps felling for her. Love how it also has that family feel to yet but it doesn't take anything away from the story in fact it helps make it seem more real. With that said I want to thank Forever for letting me read it and review it as well as sending me a copy of it .

Decadent Dukes Society

Series: Decadent Dukes Society
Author:
Genre:historical  Romance
Book 1:
Characters : Adam Penrose, Duke of Stratton & Clara Cheswick
book synopsis:
Three sinfully handsome dukes, three scores to settle, three hearts about to meet their matches. All in one thrilling new trilogy from New York Times bestselling author Madeline Hunter . . .

NOTORIOUS NOBLEMAN SEEKS REVENGE
Name and title: Adam Penrose, Duke of Stratton.
Affiliation: London’s elite Society of Decadent Dukes.
Family history: Scandalous.
Personality traits: Dark and brooding, with a thirst for revenge.
Ideal romantic partner: A woman of means, with beauty and brains, willing to live with reckless abandon.
Desire: Clara Cheswick, gorgeous daughter of his family’s sworn enemy.

FAINT OF HEART NEED NOT APPLY
Clara may be the woman Adam wants, but there’s one problem: she’s far more interested in publishing her women’s journal than getting married—especially to a man said to be dead-set on vengeance. Though, with her nose for a story, Clara wonders if his desire for justice is sincere—along with his incredibly unnerving intention to be her husband. If her weak-kneed response to his kiss is any indication, falling for Adam clearly comes with a cost. But who knew courting danger could be such exhilarating fun?
My Thoughts:
Note : I had already download the 3rd book from Netgalley when I found out it was the last book , so I sent a message to the Kensington Books asking if there was a way I could get books 1 &2 and they sent my message on to her publisher ,who then gladly sent me books 1 &2 though Netgalley , Which I'm so glad she did because its been a while since I've had a historical  Romance series and author I actually liked and loved .
Rating: 5 starts all the way
Would I recommend it? yes so much so that my friend Frishawn went and download the 3rd book from Netgalley and then I told her they was also at the library so she could now read all the books like I was.
Will I be reading the rest of the series ? yes
Will I read more by her? yes
When it comes to historical romance I'm kind of picky about the story , the characters and the author, but as soon as I started to read this one I had no problem with getting lost in the story and felling in loving with some of the characters , at least some of them , out of all the characters the one I hated was the Grandmother and how she acted towards her grandkids, I also loved how the characters came to live, the secrets that came out and how it kept me guessing on wither or not if Adam's father was guilt like everyone thought he was . With that said I want to thank Netgalley and the publisher for sending me this book and the second one , and letting me read it exchange for my honest opinion

Book 2
HE MAY BE A DEVIL

He's infamous, debaucherous, and known all over town for his complete disregard for scandal, and positively irresistible seductions. Gabriel St. James, Duke of Langford, is obscenely wealthy, jaw-droppingly handsome, and used to getting exactly what he wants. Until his attention is utterly captured by a woman who refuses to tell him her name, but can't help surrendering to his touch . . .

BUT SHE'S NO ANGEL EITHER . . .

Amanda Waverly is living two lives—one respectable existence as secretary to an upstanding lady, and one far more dangerous battle of wits—and willpower—with the devilish Duke. Langford may be the most tempting man she's ever met, but Amanda's got her hands full trying to escape the world of high-society crime into which she was born. And if he figures out who she really is, their sizzling passion will suddenly boil over into a much higher stakes affair .
My thoughts

I couldn't put this one down at all it was just as good as the first one and now I'm so looking forward to the the last book in the series, it had every thing the first one had and more this series just keeps getting better which each book . With that said I want to think Netgalley for letting me read and review it exchange for my honest opinion.
Book 3
He is the last duke standing

. . . the sole remaining bachelor of the three self-proclaimed Decadent Dukes. Yet Davina MacCallum’s reasons for searching out the handsome Duke of Brentworth have nothing to do with marriage. Scottish lands were unfairly confiscated from her family by the Crown and given to his. A reasonable man with vast holdings can surely part with one trivial estate, especially when Davina intends to put it to good use. Brentworth, however, is as difficult to persuade as he is to resist.

The Duke of Brentworth’s discretion and steely control make him an enigma even to his best friends. Women especially find him inscrutable and unapproachable—but also compellingly magnetic. So when Davina MacCallum shows no signs of being even mildly impressed by him, he is intrigued. Until he learns that her mission in London involves claims against his estate. Soon the two of them are engaged in a contest that allows no compromise. When duty and desire collide, the best laid plans are about to take a scandalous turn—into the very heart of passion
