First off a big thank you to Second Sky, the author Meg Pennerson ,and to Netgalley for not only the invite to read Dragons, Heists and Other Retirement Plans but also for introducing me to a new series, and these characters. Because without them I might have missed out on what was and is a really nice story, with characters that I grew to like and love because of their friendship and banter, and let's not forget their love able pets , infect out of I would have to say that my two favorite is Mr. Scruffles and Ember who belong to Katherine( those two had me smiling and laughing most of the time). Another thing I found myself liking about this book was the pacing of it , it felt just right not to fast or slow , which helped give the world a chance to build as well as the characters themselves come to life.

 Right from the very start you get a story that is tense as well as as fast paced , and gives you goosebumps, with each turn of the page . Because that's the kind of atmosphere that sets the tone of a really good book. Plus it also makes you second guess yourself more then  once  throughout  the book .

Once again D.K.Hood has done it when it comes to her Detectives Kane and Alton Series, this series keeps getting better and better, with each book ,it never gets stale, and the vibe is always on point, as is her way of making you feel like your not alone, and let's not forget her amazing characters, and the way she keeps coming up with new, clever, and original ways to commit murder that makes a gripping and very tense read that makes it hard to put down.

Fear grips her as the heavy footsteps echo along the isolated trail path. She thought she was alone in the woods, but as a hand reaches out from the darkness to cover her mouth, she knows that nobody will hear her scream…

First off a big thank you to Bookouture, the author Wendy Clarke, and to Netgalley for the invite to read The Birth Mother, because up until now I had no idea Wendy Clarke was coming out with a new book, and second this one turns out to be the second book of hers I've read so it lets me give her a second try and I'm glad I day, because for a psychological thriller it comes off a bit different, one is the pacing,it's a little slow but surprisingly that works because it sets up the atmosphere of the book , not only from the first page but though out it, second is those something about the way this story is told in the different timeline/ perspectives that help play an important part in the way it's told as well as making it feel even more creepy and enhanced, mixed that in with the atmosphere of the story and you have a book that will keep you on your edge of your set.

How far will she go to get her child back?

I walk through the beautiful house, my hand lingering on the handrail of the polished mahogany staircase. Looking around the grand hallway, I can’t believe my luck at being here. If Rosemary knew who I was, she’d never have invited me in.

First off a big thank you to the publisher Bookouture, the author Harper Graham, and to Netgalley, for letting me continue on with my vist to the small town Maple Falls because in this one we get to see the coming together of our 2 main characters Zoe and Jackson ( brother to our main male character in book 2 ) , plus we get to go along with them as they go on a treasure hunt to look for a flower that may or may not exist anymore around their town. Thus book was humorous and had the right amount of spice in it , and let's not forget the choas that Zoe's mother caused, as well as choas that happened when ever Zoe and Jackson was together. Plus I loved the fact that Jackson loved Zoe for who she was even if at times she was a bit chaotic and that made me me laugh and smile because he didn't want to change her in anyway .

First off big thank to the publisher Second Sky, the author Luanne Bennett, 

as well as to Netgalley for letting me continue on with this series, and to my friend Alexis who has been doing a buddy read with me of this series since the very first book. I can't believe we're on book 5 already and have only one more to go before we say goodbye to these characters but that where re reads coming . What can I say about this book but that it had me laughing on moment, and screaming the next , and getting so mad at some of my favorite characters ( and yes I mean you Dog as well as you Samuel), and let's not talk about how much I dislike dog's girlfriend and the trouble she bought, and that other alpha, his definitely not a character you can love, there was so much more non stop action though out this one that I didn't want to put it but that true about the the other four books because once you start reading them you can't stop .
