First off I  want to say a  huge  thank you to the publisher Bookouture, the author L.A.Larkin , and to NetGalley for inviting me to join the blog tour for this book as well as letting me read and review it. This book has everything in it that I wanted and need at this time , an unknown stalker, anonymous threats, starting over in a new place that's supposed to feel safe but isn't, as well as murder and the police can't seem to find out who's doing it and why or even , and the setting is perfect for the story because it gives it that creepy vibe , you know the one where you get goosebumps on your arms and chills that run down your spin.

As for the plot of the story I could very much see something like this happening doing this day and age, and the author bring up topics that needed  to be talked about but she does it it in a way that their not in  the face but in a way that makes you stop and think and ask how can we make sure things like this doesn't happen. As for the characters themselves, they  came though with how strange they are  and made you feel for them in ways that you just wanted to reach out and give them a hug and tell them no matter what it was going to be ok.

Her Ocean Grave

Welcome to my review of  Her Ocean Grave which is been hosted by Bookouture

Title: Her Ocean Grave

Author:Dana Perry

Detective Abby Pearce #1

Rating: 4

My thoughts First off I  want to say a  huge  thank you to the publisher   Bookouture , the author Dana Perry, and to NetGalley for inviting me to join the blog tour for this book as well as letting me read and review it. There's only a few words that I will say about this book and I hope you give it a try for yourself and they are :secrets , lies , drama , twists and turns that will have you asking yourself who do you believe , and a female character that knowns she has a problem , which is one  of the reasons why i liked the main character so much , she didn't try to hide it , and while she does have  flaws and demons that she battles every day , to me that just makes her stronger .

Book Description:

The teenage girl in the picture has bright eyes and a smudge of chocolate on her chin. It’s her birthday and she looks self-consciously beautiful in her floral party dress. But nobody has seen this girl’s sweet smile for days. She has vanished without a trace.

Enclosed by endless beaches and crashing waves, the sleepy little island of Martha’s Vineyard is a place where everyone knows each other’s name and locals can leave their front doors unlocked at night without worry. But everything changes the day that Samantha Clayton leaves for an afternoon bike ride along the cliff tops, and never comes home.

Detective Abby Pearce has the difficult job of interviewing the girl’s grieving mother and silent stepfather. But why can’t they answer simple questions about what Samantha was wearing the day she went missing, or who her friends were? Did her family know her at all?

Then a girl’s bright pink shoe is discovered buried on a local beach. What if Samantha is not the first innocent teenager to be taken, but the latest? Another victim is found dead days later, and the terrified residents demand to know what’s happening to their children. But the killer is already planning his next move and more young lives will be taken if Abby doesn’t figure out what secrets this small town is hiding…

An absolutely unputdownable and nail-biting crime thriller that will have you racing through the pages. Perfect for fans of Lisa Regan, Kendra Elliot and Gregg Olsen.

Would I read more of this series? Yes
Would I recommend it? Yes
Right about now your asking yourself why should I pick this up and here is just some of the reasons as to why:
Murder
Secrets
Did someone get away with murder or did the right person go to jail for it?
Baby - a creepy character that you meet throughout the story
a touch of romance
lots of twists and turns, to keep the reader on their edge of their set
and the story itself  will grab your attention from the beginning and won't let up until the last page.

Don't Look

At first, they struggle to escape. Then a torrent of blows rains down upon their bodies until their eyes cloud over in final agony. The killer shows no remorse--just a twisted need to witness each victim's last terrified moments.

Don't Speak

Public defender Rachel Wainwright is struggling to reopen a decades-old case, convinced that the wrong man is in prison. Homicide detective Deke Morgan doesn't want to agree. But if Rachel's hunch is correct, whoever fatally bludgeoned young, beautiful Annie Dawson thirty years ago could be the source of a new string of brutal slayings.

Just Prepare To Die

Rachel's investigation is about to reveal answers--but at a price she never thought to pay. Now she's become the target of a rage honed by years of jealousy and madness. And a murderer is ready to show her just how vicious the truth can be.

The Moon Over Kilmore Quay

They say home is where the heart is, yet somehow my heart is split in two. New York, the city I live in and love, and Ireland, the home of my ancestors—somewhere I have lived only in my dreams. And now I have no choice but to go looking… Brooklyn, New York: Broken-hearted and home alone on New Year’s Eve, Bea O’Connor finds a letter she wrote to herself nearly twenty years before… In the letter, she’d wished for many things. To never lose touch with her two best friends. For her father to be happier. To one day go back to the picturesque Irish village of Kilmore Quay, so she could find out more about her mother who’d died when Bea was tiny. Bea had also dreamed that she’d one day find love—even if her heart is too fragile since losing Dan to think about that right now. Impulsively she starts writing new little wishes in the margins of the letter. But as the moon goes down over New York City and another year begins, a little magic seems to be in the air. And, as shocking family secrets come to light and Bea finds herself having to travel to Kilmore Quay at last, some of those wishes start to feel like they really could come true.
