My thoughts

Would I recommend it? Yes, in fact I've already told one of my friends about it ans she went to NetGalley to see if she could get to read since we like the same stuff when it comes to books.

Would I read more by these authors?Yes

Now on to my thoughts but like always I want to give a big thanks to the publisher Bantam-Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine, the authors Brandon Webb, John David Mann, and to NetGalley for the invite to read and review Steal Fear because without them I wouldn't have never known about it or never have  discovered two new authors. As for the story itself its fast pace , nonstop action and the main character Finn came off as a character you would want to have to watch your back. Other thing I loved was character development and the  plot was interesting and worked really well with the story .

An aircraft carrier adrift with a crew the size of a small town. A killer in their midst. And the disgraced Navy SEAL who must track him down . . . The high-octane debut thriller from New York Times bestselling writing team Webb & Mann—combat-decorated Navy SEAL Brandon Webb and award-winning author John David Mann.

The moment Navy SEAL sniper Finn sets foot on the USS Abraham Lincoln to hitch a ride home from the Persian Gulf, it's clear something is deeply wrong. Leadership is weak. Morale is low. And when crew members start disappearing one by one, what at first seems like a random string of suicides soon reveals something far more sinister: There's a serial killer on board. Suspicion falls on Finn, the newcomer to the ship. After all, he's being sent home in disgrace, recalled from the field under the dark cloud of a mission gone horribly wrong. He's also a lone wolf, haunted by gaps in his memory and the elusive sense that something he missed may have contributed to civilian deaths on his last assignment. Finding the killer offers a chance at redemption . . . if he can stay alive long enough to prove it isn't him

My thoughts

First off I want to say a huge  thank you to the publisher Bookouture,   the author Helen Phifer, and to NetGalley for inviting me to join the blog tour for this book as well as letting me read and review it. Even though have books 1 and 2 to read  and review after reading this one , I can't wait to go back and read them as well, it was fast pace though out the story , and had me setting on the edge of my set as well as kept me guessing on who had taken Charlotte, and the way the author wrote her bad guy made him creepy and not the type of person I wanted to knew or every met .As for the characters themselves there was some that I hated and some that I felt sorry for as well as some that I liked , and the story is told in various points of view, which also helps to bring in some of the creepiness that I mentioned before.

As for the plot of the story I could very much see something like this happening doing this day and age, and the author bring up topics that needed  to be talked about but she does it it in a way that their not in  the face but in a way that makes you stop and think and ask how can we make sure things like this doesn't happen. Her Ocean Grave

Welcome to my review of  Her Ocean Grave which is been hosted by Bookouture

Title: Her Ocean Grave

Author:Dana Perry

Detective Abby Pearce #1

Rating: 4

My thoughts First off I  want to say a  huge  thank you to the publisher   Bookouture , the author Dana Perry, and to NetGalley for inviting me to join the blog tour for this book as well as letting me read and review it. There's only a few words that I will say about this book and I hope you give it a try for yourself and they are :secrets , lies , drama , twists and turns that will have you asking yourself who do you believe , and a female character that knowns she has a problem , which is one  of the reasons why i liked the main character so much , she didn't try to hide it , and while she does have  flaws and demons that she battles every day , to me that just makes her stronger .

Book Description:

The teenage girl in the picture has bright eyes and a smudge of chocolate on her chin. It’s her birthday and she looks self-consciously beautiful in her floral party dress. But nobody has seen this girl’s sweet smile for days. She has vanished without a trace.

Enclosed by endless beaches and crashing waves, the sleepy little island of Martha’s Vineyard is a place where everyone knows each other’s name and locals can leave their front doors unlocked at night without worry. But everything changes the day that Samantha Clayton leaves for an afternoon bike ride along the cliff tops, and never comes home.

Detective Abby Pearce has the difficult job of interviewing the girl’s grieving mother and silent stepfather. But why can’t they answer simple questions about what Samantha was wearing the day she went missing, or who her friends were? Did her family know her at all?

Then a girl’s bright pink shoe is discovered buried on a local beach. What if Samantha is not the first innocent teenager to be taken, but the latest? Another victim is found dead days later, and the terrified residents demand to know what’s happening to their children. But the killer is already planning his next move and more young lives will be taken if Abby doesn’t figure out what secrets this small town is hiding…

An absolutely unputdownable and nail-biting crime thriller that will have you racing through the pages. Perfect for fans of Lisa Regan, Kendra Elliot and Gregg Olsen.

Right about now your asking yourself why should I pick this up and here is just some of the reasons as to why:
Murder

Did someone get away with murder or did the right person go to jail for it?
Baby - a creepy character that you meet throughout the story
