My thoughts
First off like always I want to say a huge thank you to the publisher Bookouture , the author Miranda Smith ,and to the wonderful ladies of the Bookouture Anonymous Facebook group without them and their hard work I wouldn't have found out about this book or many of the others I since read before or after this one, as well as to NetGalley for the invite to join this blog tour as well as letting me read and review it.
This is the second book from this author that I've read and in fact I have one other of hers to read , she's becoming one of my go to authors because with her books you have no idea what's going to happen next, and you can always get lost in them to the point where you don't want to stop reading. This one was creepy as well as unpredictable, and every time I thought I has something figured out , man was I wrong , while it was slow in some places which is something you never see in thrillers ,this one it worked because it helped set the pace of the story and made it that more tense in some places .And it give you that feeling you get when you watch a good atmospheric thriller movie , you know the ones that make you set on the edge of your set , and make you feel like your been watched from the shadows or that someone you can't see is standing right behind you . It had just about everything I love in these type of books :serial killer, a haunting past, an abundance of danger.
