First off I  want to say a  huge  thank you to the publisher   Hachette Audio , and to the authors James Patterson and Maxine Paetro for the invite to read and review their new book, as well as sending me the link to get it though Play Books. As well as for them helping me to find a new series to start , after listening to this one and since I just checked and saw that they was also  narrated  by  January LaVoy  , I can wait to listen to more of them. In fact this will be the seconds series of his that I'm reading the first is his Alex Cross and I never thought I would find another series of his I would actually like,like I did that one but now I have. In fact this was my first time listing to January LaVoy and the way she read the story made me love it and enjoy it even more then I could every hopeful . She made the story come to life , there was times I forgot I was actually listening to an audio book , I thought doing those times I was watching a new tv show . As for the story itself wow what a ride, it kept me going back and forth on who was the killer .

First off I  want to say a  huge  thank you to the publisher Unbound Digital,  the authors Patrick Morgan, David Kidger, as well as as Random Things Tours for inviting me as well as sending me a copy to read and review , now on to my thoughts and why you should consider picking this up for yourself or for a family member of friend to read.

Packs a lot of action right from the very start, the world building is amazing , and so is the story line .

What I loved about it:

The story line

The way the authors brings their characters to live as will as the world the story takes place in .

The Descriptions that they  bring to live as well and the drawings that you see of  the builds , and towns

There so much about this story I loved that I don't want to give anything away, but I can say that if you love 

Science Fiction as well as Apocalyptic & Post Apocalypti type stories that have non stop action though out , as well as Politics and secret towns that maybe are not known about then this one is right up your ally. As well as a story that is  family based , forgotten history, advancing technology and twisting series of events that will make you wounder if what is happen was set up by someone or by something . Then yes you do need to set down and read this.

AUTHORS' DETAILS

Patrick and David’s first collaboration, the ‘Sega Star’ was published, by them,

on A4 plain paper, at the tender age of 10. David got though university, worked

for the BBC online, before starting his own web design company. Patrick

abandoned his pitiful academic endeavours at 19 to work as a support engineer

and designer in Indycar and Formula 1.

Years later both were running their respective businesses, David’s in user

experience and interface design, Patrick’s in Historic Motorsport or ‘seeing

what everyone else did’ as he calls it. Reunited over a long promised pint they

talked childhood, Transformers and Starcom. It’s a fact that boys love

spaceships and robots, both had stabs at novels in the past so writing together

sounded like fun. Patrick worked with Jade Gurss on his highly rated book

‘Beast’ in 2014, among other motorsport and technical books and loved every

moment of it.

Patrick does words, illustrations and some ideas. David does ideas, mostly the

bigger ones.

Because this  series just keeps getting better and better with each book, this one might just be my favorite so far out of the three , because once again after just the first page I was hooked and didn't want to put it down and stop reading. There was twist and turns I didn't see coming and when I thought I had something figured out ,it turns out I was wrong, and the secrets just kept coming, other thing I loved was the inter action between Mackenzie and Nick,

First off I  want to say a  huge  thank you to the publisher  St. Martin's Press , the author Nancy Marie Brown ,  and to NetGalley for letting me read and review it. While this looks like just a book the history of the Valkyrie as well as the vikings its also a mixture of their mythology which means you get the best of both worlds, and because of that its perfect for those who love history as well as mythology. The author has done an amazing job of bring both to life,so much so that  she weaves the history and the mythology together that you actual just want to keep reading it page after page . 

In the tradition of Stacy Schiff’s Cleopatra, Brown lays to rest the hoary myth that Viking society was ruled by men and celebrates the dramatic lives of female Viking warriors.

In 2017, DNA tests revealed to the collective shock of many scholars that a Viking warrior in a high-status grave in Birka, Sweden was actually a woman. The Real Valkyrie weaves together archaeology, history, and literature to imagine her life and times, showing that Viking women had more power and agency than historians have imagined.

Brown uses science to link the Birka warrior, whom she names Hervor, to Viking trading towns and to their great trade route east to Byzantium and beyond. First off I  want to say a  huge  thank you to the publisher Bookouture ,   the author Jenna Kernan , and to NetGalley for letting me read and review it. Because as soon as I started reading it I couldn't stop reading it, was hooked from the start and  I just wanted to keep reading . Its the type of book that is  suspenseful with a lot of action, and makes you wounder if its a copycat or if the actual serial killer had a helper that no one knew about .The killer themselves is written so will that they give you goosebumps, as for the story line its its  well written  and the pace is not to fast or slow , its the kind I like because it helps build up the tension of the story so much so that your be setting at the edge of your set. And the twist that though out will keep you guessing .

And now on to my thoughts , as soon as I saw the email for this one there was no way that I was going to say no , because I had read the first book in this series and loved it and second I'm 100 % hooked on her werewolf series , its one of my all time series to read , not only because its a paranormal romance , is different then any other shifter series I'm either reading or have read, but because of the non stop action, the characters , the suspense, the hot romance between the main characters , how the story just seems to coming together, and the way she makes everything come to life and they seem to just jump off the page, as well as the introduction to new types of paranormal .

Would I recommend it? Yes 

Would I read more by this author? Yes, in fact right before I read this one I actually read her The Darkest Minds ( book 1 in The Darkest Minds series) .

Now to start off my review like I always do with a  huge  thank you to the publisher Hyperion-Disney Publishing Worldwide ,the author Alexandra Bracken , and to NetGalley as well as a think once again to Taylor for picking it and for making me finally reading , since she's been telling me to pick it up ever since I told her I had it from NetGalley and still hadn't read it lol. And here's the thing I don't know why it took me this long to read it has everything in that I love which is :

And the cover is beautiful which is what made me request it as soon as I saw it. The only 2 things I can thing up for not waiting to pick it is I wasn't in the mood for it at the time  and 2nd it also be that while I liked her book The Darkest Minds it took me a while to get into the story , while with this one just after starting it and read like 5 to 6 pages I was hooked , and as soon as I message Taylor that , in my mind I could see her doing a happy dance . As for the story  I loved it , I loved how she wrote the story line , how she set up her world so that it was easy to fellow and just get lost in , and the characters were well written, and my absolute favorite was Lore , how she was there for friends no matter what,her love for her family , and her love for her family's history .
