My thoughts
Would I recommend this series? yes
Will I read the rest of them ?yes ( in fact I have books 2-3 to read and review )
Would I read anything by this author? yes
This is the first time I've ever read a series that one of the main characters is an author that I read and is a detective who helps the police to solve crimes . As for the story its self,it's well written and beings to live the very historical period that it's set in as well as how people was treated , and the author brings to live his characters so we'll well that you can almost feel what they went through . And don't forget the creepy feeling you get when he writes about the fog. With that said I want to say thank you to Netgalley for letting me read and review it exchange for my honest opinion.
