Now on to my thoughts

First off I  want to say a  huge  thank you to the publisher Bookouture,  the author Wendy Dranfield , and to NetGalley for inviting me to join the blog tour for this book as well as letting me read and review it.This series just keeps getting better and better with each book, and this one might be my favorite because we get to see more of Nate's case . Other thing I love about this author is how she does  multiple story lines so well that they flow together and you have no problem understanding what is going on and her characters are written so well that they actually seem like real people and not just characters in a book.

About the Book:

Rain rattles through the trees as she leans into the car, careful not to touch anything. Two pretty blue eyes stare back through the dark, wide with relief, or maybe fear. A baby girl, wrapped up in a pink snowsuit, reaches out a tiny hand. Her mother is nowhere to be found…

An abandoned baby is the last thing Detective Madison Harper expects to find as she drives to her first day back at work since the case that ripped her life apart. But as she cradles the shivering child close, all her instincts tell her there’s something more sinister at play. Then she finds a lone sneaker down a muddy trail nearby, the laces spattered with blood…

In a town as small as Lost Creek, Colorado, the baby and the shoe are quickly identified as belonging to Kacie Larson, a waitress at the local diner who quietly stashed away her tips to make a better life for her daughter. A mother herself, Madison can’t believe that Kacie would just abandon her child, but she also can’t convince her new team. Not for the first time, Madison feels she must go it alone to get the job done.

But when a body is pulled from a nearby lake, and it’s not Kacie, the case takes an agonizing turn. Is this missing mother really who she says she is? Is there a chance she’s still alive? Madison barely has time to think before the sweet little girl she rescued is snatched on a crowded street. Gone, in the blink of an eye.

To break this case and earn her place back on the force, Madison must learn to trust her team, and herself againand fast. If she doesn’t find this twisted individual in time, a little girl could die…

A pulse-pounding, absolutely gripping and totally addictive page-turner that will have you racing through the pages and reeling at the twists. Perfect for fans of Melinda Leigh, Lisa Regan and Kendra Elliot, you’ll be sleeping with the lights on!

Now ow to my thoughts

First off I  want to say a  huge  thank you to the publisher Harlequin Intrigue-HARLEQUIN - Romance (U.S. & Canada) , the author Denise N. Wheatley  , and to NetGalley for inviting me to join the blog tour for this book as well as letting me read and review it. This is my first book by this author and after reading this I can say I wasn't disappointed at all, even though there was times I was shaking my head at some of the things Samantha did but over all the story and Gregory made up for. Other big win was how the author used the idea of Samantha having a true crime podcast , which is one of my favorite types of podcast to listen to and the way the author wrote and blended the story and romance was perfect, because neither one canceled the other out, you got the perfect mixture of both.

Cold Case True Crime by Denise N. Wheatley is available on June 29.

First off I  want to say a  huge  thank you to  Love Book Tours, the publisher  Canelo Crime, and the author Sheila Bugler for the invite to read and review The Lucky Eight. And I'm so glad that I said yes because not only did I find a new author to read but her story reminds me of some of my favorite who done it stories and movies, where a group of friends comes together  and  suddenly  there's a murder and everyone  has secrets that they don't want to come out, mixed with the fact that the eight friends came together because they were the Lucky Eight, the only survivors of a trouble plane crashed that happened five years ago. As your reading it one moment you think you know who the murder is and then the next you realize that you have no clue rights so ever. The story is fast pace and keeps the twist and turns a  coming.

A Light in the Window

Welcome to my blog tour stop for A Light in the Window which is been hosted by Bookouture

Title: A Light In The Window

Author: Marion Kummerow

Genre: Historical Fiction WW2

Pub date : Jule 20,2021

Rating:

Would I recommend it? Yes

Would I read more by this author? Yes

Now on to my thoughts

First off  a  huge thank you to the publisher Bookouter, the author Marion Kummerow, and to NetGalley for inviting me to join the blog tour for this book as well as letting me read and review it. And now on what I thought of the book, like always wither it's a nonfiction book about WW 2 or historical fiction WW 2 there are a few questions that I ask myself and they are as fellow:

1: author has done their research? Even though this is my first book by this author , I would say yes and it shows in her writing .

2: they bring their characters and their settings to life? Yes, the more I read the more I could see the characters come to life as well as the sittings.

3: they make you feel everything that the characters feel? Yes, there was times I just wanted to reach out and hug the main character and tell them it was going to be ok .

4: and by the end of the book your a emotional wreck? Yes , by the end of the book my heart was broken for the characters,as well as  their love ones.

As for the story itself it was  amazingly writing and the story line flowed together in away that with each turn of the page you got lost in it and only wanted the best for the characters, it's the type of story that you just don't want to put down but you know you have to, because if you don't your start to cry. And the concept of the story is way different then any other historical fiction WW 2 I have ever read, and that also helps the story because it shows that not everyone went along with the way they was told to think that even though they knew that a person wasn't who they said they was ,they was really to do anything to make so that those people was safe.

Book Description:

Margarete stumbles out of the bombed-out house, the dust settling around her like snow. Mistaking her for the dead officer’s daughter, a guard rushes over to gently ask her if she is all right and whether there’s anything he can do to help her. She glances down at where the hated yellow star had once been, and with barely a pause, she replies “Yes”.

Berlin, 1941: Margarete Rosenbaum is working as a housemaid for a senior Nazi officer when his house is bombed, leaving her the only survivor. But when she’s mistaken for his daughter in the aftermath of the blast, Margarete knows she can make a bid for freedom…

Issued with temporary papers—and with the freedom of not being seen as Jewish—a few hours are all she needs to escape to relative safety. That is, until her former employer’s son, SS officer Wilhelm Huber, tracks her down.

But strangely he doesn’t reveal her true identity right away. Instead he insists she comes and lives with him in Paris, and seems determined to keep her hidden. His only condition: she must continue to pretend to be his sister. Because whoever would suspect a Nazi girl of secretly being a Jew?

His plan seems impossible, and Margarete is terrified they might be found out, not to mention worried about what Wilhelm might want in return. But as the Nazis start rounding up Jews in Paris and the Résistance steps up its activities, putting everyone who opposes the regime in peril, she realizes staying hidden in plain sight may be her only chance of survival…

Can Margarete trust a Nazi officer with the only things she has left though… her safety, her life, even her heart?

A totally heartbreaking and unputdownable story about how far someone would go to save one life, that fans of The Tattooist of Auschwitz, The Nightingale and All the Light We Cannot See will adore.

Author Bio:

Marion Kummerow was born and raised in Germany, before she set out to "discover the world" and lived in various countries. In 1999 she returned to Germany and settled down in Munich where she's now living with her family.

Inspired by the true story about her grandparents, who belonged to the German resistance and fought against the Nazi regime, she started writing historical fiction, set during World War II. Her books are filled with raw emotions, fierce loyalty and resilience. She loves to put her characters through the mangle, making them reach deep within to find the strength to face moral dilemma, take difficult decisions or fight for what is right. And she never forgets to include humor and undying love in her books, because ultimately love is what makes the world go round.

Radar Girls

welcome to my Blog tour stop for Radar Girls which is been hosted by MIRA-HARLEQUIN – Trade Publishing (U.S. & Canada)

Rating: 4
Would I recommend it? Yes
Would I read more by this author? Yes
Now on to my thoughts
First off  like always I  want to say a  huge  thank you to the publisher  MIRA-HARLEQUIN – Trade Publishing (U.S. & Canada)
the author  Sara Ackerman  , and to NetGalley for the invite to join this blog tour as well as letting me read and review it.If you known anything about me you will already know that I love reading Historical fiction especially when its based on WW 2 , as well as finding new things to  learning about that make me want to go look that subject up, and this book did that in so many ways. I knew that in the war they had the girls to help with the pilots but not what their job consist of. And this author did an amazing job bring their story to life, because its part of our history that needs to be told. And the story is  written a well researched historical novel  that's about bright and courageous women who deserve to be better know and not forgetting like it sometimes happens .

About the book:
WWII historical fiction inspired by the real women of the Women’s Air Raid Defense, RADAR GIRLS follows one unlikely recruit as she trains and serves in secrecy as a radar plotter on Hawaii. A tale of resilience and sisterhood, it sees the battles of the Pacific through the eyes of these pioneering women, and will appeal to fans of Kate Quinn and Pam Jenoff.

An extraordinary story inspired by the real Women’s Air Raid Defense, where an unlikely recruit and her sisters-in-arms forge their place in WWII history.

Daisy Wilder prefers the company of horses to people, bare feet and saltwater to high heels and society parties. Then, in the dizzying aftermath of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Daisy enlists in a top-secret program, replacing male soldiers in a war zone for the first time. Under fear of imminent invasion, the WARDs guide pilots into blacked-out air strips and track unidentified planes across Pacific skies.

But not everyone thinks the women are up to the job, and the new recruits must rise above their differences and work side-by-side despite the resistance and heartache they meet along the way. With America’s future on the line, Daisy is determined to prove herself worthy. And with the man she’s falling in love with out on the front lines, she cannot fail. From radar towers on remote mountaintops to flooded bomb shelters, she’ll need her new team when the stakes are highest. Because the most important battles are fought—and won—together.

This inspiring and uplifting tale of pioneering, unsung heroines vividly transports the reader to wartime Hawaii, where one woman’s call to duty leads her to find courage, strength and sisterhood.

Dragon Gold

Welcome to my review for Dragon Gold

Title : Dragon Gold
Series : Order Of The Dragon #2
Author: Kristie Clark
Pages: 247
Pub date: July 15,2021
Rating: 5
Would I recommend it ? Yes, ever since I've read the first book to this series I've been telling my friends they need to check it out.
Would I read more of this series? Yes, in fact the author was kind enough to not long send me this one but book 3 as well to read and review.
Would I read more by this author? Yes
Now on to my thoughts
First a big thank to to the author herself for sending me books this one and book 3 to read as well as well as letting me go on with this series and a thank you to NetGalley for letting me download it to review it as well. As with  the first one Killing Dragons this one had me from the fist page, and it wouldn't let go, everything was so real in this one that it felt like I could reach out and touch the fish , the dolphins, and feel the sea air on my face. Plus the I learned stuff while read it, like in the first one I had no idea that there was even a dolphin that looked like a killer while until we meet Finn,. Other thing is the story is like something that some of my all time favorite authors would write with the way she brings to life the information on marine biology, genetics, submarines, and dolphins, both the good and bad side of the information. As for the story its self it was packed with non stop action wither it was underwater or land, and that say something since I'm terrified of been underwater or in closed in spaces like what's in a submarine but while reading this, I can still enjoy doing the thing the characters do with out having to get into the water or a submarine, even though there was times I was like reminding myself that I was safe and sound in my room. So if you like stories that are like that as will as have a bit of romance in them, bad guys that you would love to see get eating and the guys win, then you might want to check this one out.
A dragon will kill any who dare to take its gold.

After her dangerous adventures earlier in the year, everything is finally going well for Dr. Eva Paz. Her breakthroughs in dolphin communication are changing the world. Her discoveries could save the reef she loves. And now her mother has found love again.

But then a madman returns to claim what’s his. Eva’s old nemesis, Julian Gulliver, kidnaps Eva’s mother, and he demands an exorbitant ransom.

It’s money Eva doesn’t have.

What she does have are friends who are willing to do anything to help, including ex-Navy SEAL—and ex-boyfriend—Dr. Thomas Sternberg. But Eva’s greatest asset may be her dolphins: Taffy, Finn, Cleo, and Chico.

Together, they need to mount a rescue effort. Yet things are even more desperate than they imagine, for Julian isn’t the only menace terrorizing Roatan.

Join Eva as she works with Thomas and her dolphins to rescue her mother and save the reef from a man who would destroy them all.

For fans of Michael Crichton, Dragon Gold is book two in Kristie Clark’s Order of the Dolphin Series.
