Now on to my thoughts
First off I want to say a huge thank you to Love Book Tours, the publisher Cayelle Pub, the author Pat O'Brien for inviting me to join the blog tour for this book as well as letting me read and review it. And for introducing me to a new author , one that I can't wait to read more of because this is one book of his is now one of my new favorite books of 2021. What got me hooked so fast was the way you meet the killer and have no idea who he or she is, its fast pace and the killer sends shivers up and down your spine the more you read plus it also the perfect type of read to read doing a thunderstorm like I did.As for the characters that you meet ,they seem to come to life right off the page. This is one book I could see as a movie if it's done right and have the right actors for the characters.
Detective, Rhody Richardson, is leading the investigation with his partner, Detective Wayne.
Victims have been disfigured and tortured - faces sliced, numbers carved into their chests. The brilliant, but young, forensic intern, Connor Patrick, tries desperately to make sense of the numbers but cannot find a pattern.
The killer has promised ten victims, but Richardson, and psychiatric consultant Dr. Kaileen
Taylor believe it will continue well past that number. At each of the gruesome crime scenes, the
killer has left cryptic poems with different names. Richardson ventures down a dangerous path, deciphering what the killer is trying to tell them before they escape justice into the eternal void of the unknown.
Below is the first "official" independent review I have received for Unknown Vengeance. I am looking forward to hearing honest impressions from others:
